British Square Solitaire/Patience rules for British Square

Object of the game
Move all the cards to the foundations
Deck
Two standard decks (104 cards)
Foundation
  • Four foundations built up by suit from Ace to King, then King to Ace
  • A second King is to be placed on top of the last King to make another sequence from King to Ace
  • Once on the foundation, cards may not be moved
Tableau
  • 16 tableau piles built up or down by suit
  • The top card of each pile is available for play on the foundations or another tableau pile
  • Empty spaces are immediately filled by the top card of the waste or the top card of the stock
  • Once all cards from the stock pile is depleted, an empty space may be filled with any available card
Stock
  • When selected, deals One card to the waste pile
  • There is no redeal, only one pass through the stock is allowed
Waste
  • The top card of the waste is available for play on the foundations or the tableau piles
