British Square Solitaire/Patience rules for British Square

Object of the game
Move all the cards to the foundations
Deck
104 cards - Two standard decks
Foundation
  • Four foundations built up by suit, from Ace to King, and then back down from King to Ace
  • A second King is to be placed on top of the last King to start a new sequence, from King to Ace
  • Once placed on the foundation, cards may not be moved
Tableau
  • 16 tableau piles built up or down by suit
  • The top card of each pile is available for play on the foundations or another tableau pile
  • Empty spaces are immediately filled by the top card of the waste pile or the top card of the stockpile
  • Once all cards from the stockpile and waste pile are exhausted, an empty space may be filled with any available card
Stock
  • When selected, deals one card to the waste pile
  • There is no redeal, only one pass through the stockpile is allowed
Waste
  • The top card of the waste is available for play on the foundations or the tableau piles
