Casket Solitaire/Patience rules for Casket
Object of the game
Move all the cards to the foundations
Deck
104 cards - Two standard decks
Foundation
- Eight foundations built up by suit from Ace to King
- Once on the foundation, cards may not be moved
Tableau
- Eight tableau piles built down by suit
- The top card of each pile is available for play on the foundations or another tableau pile
- An empty space may only be filled by a card from a stock pile or a waste pile
Reserve
- One reserve with 13 cards
- No building is allowed on the reserve
Cell
- Five cells with One card each
- The top card of each pile is available for play on the foundations or the tableau piles
- Only One card allowed on each pile
- Empty spaces are immediately filled by the top card of the reserve
- Once all cards from the reserve is depleted, an empty space may be filled with any available card
Stock
- The top card is available for play on the foundations, the tableau piles or the waste piles
- There is no redeal
Waste
- Three waste piles built by any card from the stock pile regardless of any suit and in any rank
- The top card of the waste is available for play on the foundations or the tableau piles
- Cards cannot be moved from one waste pile to another waste pile
- An empty space can only be filled by cards from the stock pile if any available
