Duke Solitaire/Patience rules for Duke
Object of the game
Move all the cards to the foundations
Deck
52 cards - One standard deck
Foundation
- Four foundations built up by suit from Ace to King
- Once on the foundation, cards may not be moved
Tableau
- Four tableau columns built down by alternate colors
- The top card of each column is available for play on the foundations or another tableau column
- Group of cards in sequence (down by alternate colors) may be moved as a unit to another tableau column
- An empty space may only be filled by a card from a reserve
- Once all cards from the reserve is depleted, an empty space may be filled with any available card or pile
Reserve
- Four reserves with Three cards each
- The top card of each pile is available for play on the foundations or the tableau columns
Stock
- When selected, deals One card to the waste pile
- Two redeals are permitted (Three deals in all)
