Object of the game
Move all the cards to the foundations
Deck
104 cards - Two standard decks
Foundation
- Four foundations built up by suit from Ace to King
- Four foundations built down by suit from King to Ace
- Once placed on the foundation, cards may not be moved
Tableau
- 12 tableau piles with one card each
- No building is allowed on the tableau piles
- The top card of each pile is available for play on the foundations
- The eight outer tableau piles are filled by the waste, or, if none is present, the top card of the stockpile
- The four inner tableau piles are filled by the reserve. If reserve is exhausted, the top card of the waste pile or stockpile is used
- An empty space may not be filled
Reserve
- One reserve of 21 cards
Stock
- When selected, deals one card to the waste pile
- Two redeals are permitted (three deals in total)
Waste
- The top card of the waste is available for play on the foundations
