Object of the game
Move all the cards to the foundations
Deck
104 cards - Two standard decks
Foundation
- Eight foundations built up by suit
- The top card of each pile is available for play
Tableau
- Eight tableau columns built down by suit
- The top card of each column is available for play on the foundations or another tableau column
- Empty spaces are immediately filled by the top card of the stockpile
- Once all cards from the stockpile are exhausted, an empty space may be filled with any available card
Reserve
- There are two reserve piles: one open and one closed
- One closed reserve with 13 cards, which are used to fill the spaces in the open reserve
- One open reserve with five cards. All five cards are always available for play on the foundations or the tableau columns
- No building is allowed on the reserves
Stock
- The top card is available for play on the foundations, the tableau columns or the waste piles
- There is no redeal
Waste
- Three waste piles built by any card from the stockpile, regardless of suit or rank
- The top card of the waste is available for play on the foundations or the tableau columns
- Cards cannot be moved from one waste pile to another waste pile
- An empty space can only be filled by cards from the stockpile, if any available
