Pairs Solitaire/Patience rules for Pairs
Object of the game
Move all the cards to the foundation
Deck
One standard deck (52 cards)
Foundation
- One foundation for all played cards
- Once on the foundation, cards may not be moved
Tableau
- Nine tableau columns with One card each
- Discard pairs of cards of the same rank, regardless of suit
- The top card of each column is available for play on another tableau column
- Empty spaces are immediately filled by the top card of the stock or the top card of the waste
Stock
- When selected, deals One card to the waste pile, if the pile is empty
- There is no redeal, only one pass through the stock is allowed
Waste
- The top card of the waste is available for play on the tableau columns
- Only One card allowed
