Thirteens Solitaire/Patience rules for Thirteens
Object of the game
Move all the cards to the foundation
Deck
52 cards - One standard deck
Foundation
- One foundation for all played cards
- Once on the foundation, cards may not be moved
Tableau
- Ten tableau piles with One card each
- Discard pairs of cards whose ranks add to 13. Kings are discarded singly
- The top card of each pile is available for play on another tableau pile
- Empty spaces are immediately filled by the top card of the stock
Stock
- One stock pile with 42 cards
- There is no redeal
Simple addition
Valid pairs are:
- Seven + Six = 13
- Eight + Five = 13
- Nine + Four = 13
- Ten + Three = 13
- Jack + Two = 13
- Queen + Ace = 13
- Kings are discarded singly
