Gaps Solitaire/Patience rules for Gaps

Object of the game
Create four suit sequences, each with twelve cards, from Two to King
Deck
52 cards - One standard deck
Tableau
  • 52 tableau piles with one card each
  • All Aces are discarded, leaving four gaps
  • A gap must be filled with a card that is one rank higher in the same suit as the card to the left of the gap
  • The leftmost gap in each row can only be filled with a Two
  • The gap to the right of a King cannot be filled
  • The top card of each pile is available for play on another tableau pile
  • Only one card allowed on each pile
Stock
  • When selected, all cards that are not in a suit sequence, beginning with a Two in the leftmost position, are collected, shuffled, and dealt back, leaving gaps between the end of each existing suit sequence and the newly dealt cards
  • Two shuffles are permitted
